Hayride

When you live in South Florida, you never know what the weather is going to be like in December. Yesterday we had a high of 79 degrees and a low of 66 degrees. But even with the weather a bit warm last night (we are usually wearing coats and hats to stay warm) our church went for their annual Christmas hayride. All different age groups load up onto a flat bed trailer pulled by a dually pick up truck to sing Christmas carols to the elderly members of our church that are homebound. I love watching the faces of our seniors light up when we pull into their yard to sing to them. The younger children are always precious as they yell "Merry Chwimas" or as Hannah yelled out last night "Hey Grandma". After the hayride we always have hot chocolate and cookies.
